Q + A

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We request that guests RSVP using the card enclosed in your invitation. Please be sure to initial each guest's meal choice for the reception.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 15th.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

ABSOLUTELY!!! We would like to ensure that your dietary needs are met. Please note any restrictions on your RSVP card.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venues? Is there parking available?

For the events at the Conrad and ArtsGarden, valet parking is available at the Conrad. There are also many parking garages downtown near the venue.

For the Episcopal service and reception, transportation will be available from the Conrad. Parking is also available in the St. Richard’s Episcopal School and Trinity Church parking lot at 33rd and Meridian and at Newfields.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Room blocks are available at the Conrad and Embassy Suites. See the Accommodations tab for more information.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the events?

Coaches will depart from the Conrad at 3:25pm for the church service and will shuttle guests to the reception at Newfields. A shuttle will also loop from Newfields back to the Conrad during the reception.

What should I wear?

We request black tie optional or formal Indian attire for the ceremonies and reception. For the Sangeet, we suggest cocktail attire.

We know that this will be many guests’ first time attending an Indian wedding. You are most welcome to wear western attire for the Sangeet and Hindu ceremony (and Indian formalwear is welcome for the western events!), but in case you’re looking for guidance we suggest lehengas, salwar kameez, anarkalis or shararas for women, and kurtas, bandis, bandhgalas, Nehru jackets, or sherwanis for men. In Indian custom, black and white are considered inauspicious and red is reserved for the bride.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Caroline and Rahul!

Where could I find Indian attire?

If you live in Indianapolis, Sai’s Boutique (8840 Michigan Rd, Suite 102) is a great option. Feel free to reach out to Caroline and Rahul for suggestions in other cities.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremonies?

While we understand everyone would like to commemorate the occasion, we respectfully request that you refrain from taking photographs or videos during the religious ceremonies this weekend.
